Maple flowers in the spring are delicate and delightful, and the shadows they cast are intriguing.

I enjoy studying the intricacies I come across in nature. One afternoon I was looking closely at these maple flowers, marvelling at their construction, and when I set the cluster down, saw the amazing long shadows in the late afternoon light.
