The 28th annual ART OFF THE FENCE Show and Sale is coming up on the grounds of the little church next to Poets Cove Resort on South Pender Island. Mark your calendars for Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21, 11 am to 5 pm.
Artists exhibiting this year are Alison Roberts, Annie Smith, Dave Roberts, Diane MacDonald, Frank Ducote and Susan Taylor with invited guest artists Diana Fairclough, Jan Albertin, Kelly Leroux, Mimi Fujino, Nancy Silo and Robin Timms.
Plan to join us for the artists’ tour at 3 pm on Saturday.

Saturday May 18th 10-4 at the Community Hall, and Sunday 19th 12-3.

Once again, we have a wide variety of artists and original art from the Pender Island Art Society. Acrylics, oils, watercolour, fibre art, cards and prints; something for everyone.

It's also the first day of the summer Farmers' Market on the Saturday...so come out and enjoy the art in the Hall and the many vendors outside, including amazing artisans, all sorts of food and fresh produce. Probably some live music, too!

Corbett House and Ptarmigan Arts presents Art in the Orchard, one of the island's favourite summer art events. The outdoor show is set up under the fruit trees of the heritage orchard, with something for everyone.

Saturday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Live music throughout the day, tea (in proper teacups) and cookies by donation, and lots of local artists displaying and selling paintings, pottery, textiles, photography, glasswork, art cards, sculptures, jewellery, and more!

This annual event is held on the Victoria Day weekend, typically heralded as the 'real' start to spring here on Pender. Planting the garden, spring house-cleaning and going to the Farmers' Market and the PIAS art show are great ways to welcome the warmer weather. The show is hosted by the Pender Island Art society (PIAS).
All are welcome to come and enjoy the original art, as well as prints and cards.
Saturday May 20: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday May 21: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This show features acrylic and watercolour/ink paintings by Kelly Leroux and Ron Underhill, members of the Pender Island Art Society and Ptarmigan Arts.
With everything from landscapes and waterscapes to boats, buildings, nature and whimsy, many pieces are small enough to be a lovely gift - for your family, friends or yourself. There are also several larger pieces.

The Gallery is located on the water at beautiful Hope Bay, where you can watch the tide roll in and out (and also stock up on handmade artisanal chocolates and beverages!)
